My first macro..I wrote that just today. It is not by any comparison as special as my first sprint win or my first day at job etc, but it is something.. Something non-special which makes me proud..so proud that I am going to blog about it...:)(BTW, I learnt in my Corporate Etiquette lessons at my bank that use of smileys is not so unprofessional, what unprofessional is its overuse) I usually don't brag about myself but recently pointed out by my fiancee that I am 'Proudy', so I may be supplying ammunition to my rival may be.
Actually I am feeling proud of this little accomplishment ( I know I abused the word) for two reasons. First, that I never thought that I will ever be doing it. I had always been aw-stuck by the simple thought of its presence in the worksheet- "Oh my God !!Somebody really talented excel pro would have done it". But now lesser mortals like yours truly can do it. Second, my fiancee who is an IT professional can not do it but Yes I can.If you are performing better than your better half then indeed it qualify as accomplishment.:)
Now the title of my blogger profile mocks me nowadays.Flowing like a river.I know literally its nothing about river, its about the flowing thoughts,Consciousness, but my thoughts are still not coming out.I feel I am away from the consciousness. My profile also tells me that I had been a prolific reader( courtesy: Shelfari pan in the right of the web page) but when I notice that last book I have read is about getting a job in Private Equity..second last about body language. So the point is that I have started seeking utilities in the books which I read. I know its not bad or immoral or goes against any kind of reader-ethics (I don't know whether any term like this exists or not, I may be making it up.. whatever). The change I am seeing in myself is conspicuous now. But what I dint noticed is when an economist has seeped in the skin of a poet/reader.
Sometimes it has to, may be. An economist would say ..Yes.for the greater good of the society but a poet would classify it as the birth of realism.(Yatharthvad, as an Hindi poet would put it )..The question which comes to my mind would they both can co-exist or its survival of the fittest..like the caption goes of Roadies..Everything or Nothing..Lets see....
